THE FEE POWERPLAY is covered by most insurance plans . We work with parents of lesser income revenue.
To fulfill our mission, PowerPlay is seeking government funding or corporate sponsorship for our web initiative and Los Angeles clinic. The funds will provide scholorships for economically disadvantaged youths that definitely will benefit most from the program. Also, funds will be allocated to further develop and enhance our web site to provide full interactive functionality and extensive healthcare, nutritional and fitness access. POWERPLAY is covered by BlueCross/ L.A. Care, Carefirst, and Healthy Families, as well as most P.P.O. insurances. We also have scholorships available. This year PowerPlay has been granted a huge honor to be affiliated with UCLA medical school. We have a monthly rotation of medical residents who comes to learn about PowerPlay and its effect in decreasing the morbidity of obesity in children. We are also currently affliated with Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles , have pediatric residents learn about the necessary actions to fight alarming obesity in youth.
